Course Overview
This course provides the skills and knowledge required to deliver a first aid response in a range of situations, including the management of casualties and the provision of CPR where required. Participants learn how to assess an incident, manage risks, apply infection control practices, provide first aid care for common injuries and medical conditions, communicate with emergency services, and document incidents through realistic, trainer-guided scenarios that reflect workplace conditions.

Delivery Location: Training is delivered at Health Security Education’s approved facilities or at client workplaces by arrangement.

Schedule / Time Commitment: Allow 1 full day (up to 6–8 hours), including theory, practical activities and assessment (delivery dependent).
