Health Security Education were exclusively chosen as only 1 of 3 educational facilities to offer a NEW Drilling & Completions course in 2015! The course will be a mandatory requirement for all personnel working around drilling sites in the new year. The Drilling and Completions General Induction (DCGI) is an initiative of the CSG operators in Queensland and developed by Energy Skills Queensland. We start our first Drilling and Completions General Induction on 13th of January with spaces still available. Contact us on 1300 000 473 or email: to book.

The DCGI is the “how to” of safety in drilling and completions which complements the knowledge learnt in other inductions. The DCGI is a one day program to explore the way in which workers think, feel and behave in response to risk. Through the DCGI, workers will develop their safety skills such as:

  • How to recognise and respond to unsafe behaviours
  • How to prepare and lead safety conversations
  • How to confidently intervene when necessary.

Health Security Education was part of the pilot test for the new course which you can find the brochure for HERE
